The Materials

This work was produced with oil and powdered, metallic pigments,
on canvas, wood, and most recently, anodized aluminum.
I often incorporate polychromatic and interference pigments, which
broadcast different colors, depending on both the viewing angle and the
direction of the light source. These materials, in combination, produce an
animated, mercurial effect, which is not visible in reproduction.
